Problems with Xbox App Win 11

Hello Together,

i have Problems with my xbox app on windows 11. I own the Gamepass ultimate and can download the games but when running i cant login in every single Game.
The XBOX Support helped me isolating the Issue to windows 11 bc. Streaming on Handy app and Xbox Series S works without problems.

What i tried:

and many other commadns called by support.

Even the XBOX Gamebar and the Xbox App wont keep login state after closing and reopening

hi Drew,

no my Xbox Series S is working fine for me.
I only got Problems on windows 11 All over all xbox apps like Xbox Game Bar -> no Friends shown up and unaviable to load
Games can't contact authentication service (like Sea of Thieves in my additional debug Files) or Cloud Gaming also wont work.

At least, my Ultimate Pass runs trough 2023. hope it is getting fixed until then

Hi Aspry,

I reviewed your post and the link you provided. To make sure the problem is understood correctly, when you try to play a game it won't login? Do you have a grey square that appears and disappears similar to the post you provided from another thread?

A couple of things to try:

1. Make sure Windows has all updates:

Select the Start Windows logo button > Settings Gear Shaped Icon > Update and security > Windows update circular arrows > Check for updates > select Install now

2. Repair the app:

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features then select the Xbox App > Advanced options > Repair if its available, and if that doesn't work select Reset.

If these troubleshooting steps don't work report this in the Windows Feedback Hub (Winkey + F OR start > feedback hub > report a problem). Include "Xbox Forum" in the title so we can find the report, and make sure you select the Gaming and Xbox category. You can attach a screenshot at the end with any additional error codes/images that can show the exact problem.

Do you get the grey square when you sign in as well? The other thread you posted that you tried troubleshooting steps in shows the grey square but wanted to confirm that the problem is the same.

Hi XBF - Drew,

yeah i did the things u said even earlier with sea of thievs support.
The Xbox Live Help also used the powershell commands with me to reinstall all xbox apps to a clean stand. Even Nothing keept better.

So i'am reporting the issue tomorrow detailed
