    Problems with the Upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.


    Sorry for any mistakes. I´m German and my English is not perfect. I try my best and hope you´ll understand.

    I already have Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold. Today I wanted to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. There is an offer: 1 € for 3 Months. After the first 3 months it will cost 38,99 € for 3 Months. I have 4,11 € credits left, so it is enough to pay for
    the first 3 Months.

    But when I want to complete the upgrade, I´m asked for how I want to pay the rest of the bill. I mean: What rest? Do I have to pay 1 € for the first 3 months and 38,99 € for the following next 3 months together and today? I really don´t get it.

    Or am I blind and can´t see that it´s an offer only for new Members? But that won´t make any sense to me, too. I never had Xbox Game Pass Ultimate before and to upgrade you have to own Xbox Game Pass and or Xbox Live Gold?

    xbox game pass ultimate weird stuff

    That means your gold was upgraded to Ultimate (Ultimate includes Gold, Game Pass for Xbox, and Game Pass for PC)

    Hi,

    Once you upgraded to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold will be carried over to Xbox game pass ultimate. For example, if you have Xbox live gold for a year and you upgraded it to Xbox game pass ultimate, your Xbox live gold and xbox game pass for
    console and PC will also be good for 13 months (12 months Xbox live gold+1 month upgrade Xbox game pass Ultimate). If you cancelled the Xbox game pass ultimate, automatically your Xbox live will also be cancelled since it is already merged to the Ultimate.
    You need to contact Xbox Support to reinstate your lost membership.

    If You Get Game Pass Ultimate It Will Convert Your Xbox Live Gold 1 Year Into Game Pass Ultimate For The Remaining Time Left On Your Year Subscription. So For Example If You Have Xbox Live Gold Paid For A Year And You Upgrade To Game Pass Ultimate It Will Convert It To One Year Game Pass Ultimate Or However Many Months You Have Left Of Your Subscription.

    (Make Sure It Says Upgrade To Game Pass Ultimate So It Will Convert Your Gold To Game Pass)

    If it's just Game Pass then at the end of the 2 weeks Game Pass will end and you'll just have your Gold subscription.

    If it's Game Pass Ultimate it will convert the gold you have until Ultimate as well. If the message you're getting says "Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass membership(s)
    into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of time, up to 36 months total. All conversions are final; conversion ratio subject to change." Then the 2 months of gold will upgrade so you will have over 2 months of Game Pass Ultimate.

    the upgrade from Xbox Game Pass to Game Pass Ultimate combines Game Pass with Xbox Live Gold, that is why Game Pass Ultimate costs more than standard Game Pass, and the combined cost is cheaper than having Live Gold and Game Pass as separate subscriptions
