    Problems with streaming Mafia III


    Hello!

    Sorry if thas been posted already, but I'm using the latest Firefox with these forums and the search does not produce any results, no matter what term I use.

    Problem report: when streaming Mafia III, which basically is smooth and works fine, the buttons on screen are sometimes not shown in situations when you have to interrogate someone and decide between kill (A) and hire (B).

    I think this is coming from the ever since bug of the XBox app telling me there is no controller connected to PC when starting streaming. Yes, there is no controller connected to the PC, but to the XBox. So why this nagging message every time?

    My guess is the app cannot sort this out. No controller on PC = no buttons shown, because Mafia III is also on Windows and the buttons there would be different.

    Additionally, I'm not aware of any promotion that provides Gears of War 3 or Gears of War Judgment for pre-ordering Mafia III. Mafia III comes with the Bayou Gator and Male/Female Lincoln Clay Avatar outfits.

    Mafia III is not working for me. There is no way to get weapons delivered, as it claims. LB button brings up my weapons, but I can not find a way to call for them to deliver ammo. Does anyone know how to fix it? Sorry for posting it under Actiontec M1424WR
    but they do not have Mafia III on the drop down list.

    To better assist you with your concern, please clarify the following information:

    • Does the issue occur on your other games?
    • Have you done any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
    • Are you using an Xbox One Elite controller?
    • Does the issue occur when your controller is off?
    • Does the issue occur when your controller is connected on the computer?

    Hey, Stim Reflex! Thanks a bunch for the screenshot. That helped me dig into this a bit more.

    First, I can confirm that the email isn't a scam. It's an official Microsoft email that was sent in error. As long as you have not pre-ordered Mafia III, then you will not be charged. If you want to confirm that on your account, you can look at both

    Mafia III Deluxe Edition     and
    Mafia III    ; if both of these say you need to purchase, you will not be charged.

    However, if you DO get charged, you will want to reach out to the
    phone team     for further assistance. They should be able to process the refund, or find out where the charge was made. You shouldn't run into any issues with this, though.
