    Problems with resuming a download


    I've got a game pass and went to download Fallout 76. I don't have the fastest internet connection and, as it hadn't finished when I went to bed, paused the download at 35% and shut the computer down.

    Came back to it the next day and the download isn't anywhere in in the downloads list to be resumed but the space is still being taken up inside folders I have no access to without forcing Windows to change permissions.

    If I pause the download and quit out of XBox and reload, the download is there again to be re-started but if I fully shut the computer down, it's gone and I have to manually delete the install file to get it started again at 0%.

    What's the best way (besides putting the computer to sleep instead of full shut down) to get this to re-start correctly? Is it a bug? Who do I report this to?

    i solve the problem by eject the disc and then resume the download until its completethen insert the disc but the download stopped one time
    and then it downloaded perfectly ♡

    I had the same problem when I was downloading this game. I kept pausing and the resuming the software and eventually it installed

    Hi,

    if you are pausing a download, you can resume it later.

    The download can only be fast, if both sides have the needed bandwith. If the server for the titanfall download is too busy, it takes a long time.

    Make sure you check if you can get your money back first.. If the DL is corrupted your out 60 dollars.
