Problems with new xbox one

Hi

If the Xbox One will not shut off it is possible to force the console to shut off by pressing and holding power button on the front of the console for a few seconds.

As for your game please allow the game to fully download/install first and if it has been purchased trough the store on the console just check what the release date of the game is.

I would if I had a proper USB thing, but I don't. I also use a mac laptop. That's why all this is really frustrating to me right now. :c

Thank you for reaching out. I see the Xbox is causing you quite a headache to say the least. Unfortunately, in order to attempt an offline system update, you will need a Windows based PC. You might want to try downloading the update by connecting the console
to a different network or trying a wired connected instead of Wi-fi. Let us know if you have tried these already, or if they help you out. We ill eagerly await your response!

Sorry! I should have suggested what SpyShadow just did. Offline update should work.

You can try running an offline update, its the surest way to make sure the update occurs correctly
