problems with my xbox one controllwe

hi all, hope your well! i've been recently running into trouble with my xbox one controller and don't know what to do. when i try connect it to my xbox it won't sync with it wireless no matter what i do, i even bought new battery's and that doesn't seem
to work. i tried connecting it by usb on both xbox and pc, and what happens is it will connect for like 5 seconds, turn off, and start blinking, and then shuts off. i've tried so much, whenever i try to update it, it just shuts off and when i try to do it
on pc, the pc doesn't even recognize the controller as connected, so i don't know what to do!

what's weirder is that sometimes it'll randomly be fine and then the next day it does this! i'm not in the status of getting a new one so any tips help!

Check the status of your controller
Re-sync your controller
Power cycle your console
Update your controller software

Hey there!

Sorry to hear about the trouble with starting up your Xbox One. To start things off, please try fully powering down your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. Once your Xbox One is shut off, unplug it completely and wait 30 seconds, then
try powering it back on. Keep us in the loop with how it goes

So this isn't really to the console but I have no xbox live gold on my account, it ran out, so I bought a 12 Month Gold membership and all it says is I already have a gold membership which makes no sense because it won't let me play online and my gold did
