    Problems with Mortal Kombat working.


    For some reason when I insert my game into my Xbox one it takes me to App Store asking me to purchase it. This is strange because i have a hard copy of the actual game and i've played it numerous times in the past. I bought it at Best buy for $35.
    Why is it directing my to purchase a digital copy when i insert my hard copy? Thoughts?

    Problems with Mortal Kombat working.

    Try doing a hard reset on your console EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

    As others have mentioned, it's not compatible and no more updates are planned at this point.

    You'll need to pick up an original Xbox console to play it.

    Mortal Kombat games that are supported on the Xbox 360 are:

    - Mortal Kombat: Deception (offline only)

    - Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (offline only)

    - Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (no longer available for new purchasers)

    - Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

    - Mortal Kombat (2011)

    - Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection

    Generally speaking, only 5 games from the franchise aren't supported.
