    Problems with Mixer UI?


    I'm not 100% sure this is an Insiders thing or not, but figured I'd start here first. For the past couple of days if I try to watch a stream on Mixer I get a new UI. It has no chat panel, no indication of your account level or sparks or anything. There's no MixPlay button, no way to spend sparks. Basically it is locked in Full Screen mode, I guess is the easiest way to describe it.

    Chat messages appear in pop-up windows, then vanish. There's no way to look at chat history. If I want to send a chat, I get a window with virtual keyboard in the middle of the screen.

    Rebooting the Xbox seems to restore the old Mixer UI...for a while. Then (and I'm not sure what is causing this) it reverts to this new full screen UI. It's like they've removed all the social aspects of Mixer.

    Anyone know if this is a bug or intended or if it's even related to the Insider program? (I am in, I believe, Beta ring)

    Microsoft should make their home UI better

    The home UI is good but I would like to remove Mixer but theres no chance that'll happen.

    I prefer Twitch since they seem to have a more detailed UI and settings controls. Mixer is great for the Xbox though.

    I use both but have found myself favoring more towards Mixer in the last year. I like Mixer's layout/UI and find it more user friendly and enables more interaction. Mixer has been growing strong, with much more to come I am sure!

    A lot of people don't like it. I don't get why they create a UI more like Xbox 360's current UI which has been updated to look a lot better than the 2005 UI. I mean heaps of people are complaining about the Xbox One UI yet hardly anyone has complained about
    the Xbox 360 UI. Mixer stinks yet it takes up a good portion of the dash. Far more people use YouTube than this Mixer thing. People can buy their own PVR's (Hauppauge or Elgato) and share gameplay which is (a) longer than 20 seconds and longer than just a
    mere 5 or 10 minutes which INCLUDES Xbox Live Voice game and party chatter). But it's a fair tool for those who can't spare $100 for a PVR. When Xbox One came out, a lot of 10-20 year olds didn't like the Windows 8 like UI which came with Xbox One. Windows
    8 was so bad they had to make an 8.1 lol. Windows 10 is better but it's still boxier compared to the Xbox 360 UI. If they created a UI like Xbox 360's current one, they wouldn't have to do a system UI update every month lol. I mean between 2011 and 2013, before
    Xbox One came out, Microsoft didn't update the 360 UI every month lol.
