Problems with Minecraft: Story Mode on certain accounts

Hello! Before you reply to this and say its discontinued or unavailable now, don't. I keep receiving that answer and it really doesn't solve anything, but I appreciate the help nonetheless. Anyways, I have the season pass disk from forever ago. Episode 2-5 (included on the disk) download and let me play them perfectly fine on my account and another account. When another family member wanted to play it, I let them use the same season pass disk, but for whatever reason it doesn't let them play episode 5. Just episode 5. They can download it, but on the episode select screen it says install episode 5. Which either shows up when the episode finished downloading while you were playing the game and needs to restart the game to incorporate the files OR because it's downloaded but you dont own it. I'd expect this to happen to all 2-5 episodes, but no. I've tried deleting the whole thing and letting it download under their account, including the season pass download, but to no avail. Yet it still works on mine and another account. We also have both accounts as home Xbox for sharing purchases. I'm at a loss of what to do here, I've tried so many different things. Is there like a limit to how may accounts can use the disk? Doubtful, but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Nope, tried it multiple times just now to see if accounts signed in affect it, but nope. Thanks for the help though!

That's been a common issue with that game. Try uninstalling everything and then reinstall only the base game (chapter 1) and chapter 5.

maybe its a problem in Minecraft story mode I have the same problem with a few games

It sounds as though you purchased Minecraft Story Mode instead of regular Minecraft. Story Mode is just a Minecraft story, there is no building. You would need Minecraft in order to build.
