Problems with installing Gears 5 on xbox game pass pc

Hi, so I've had this problem for a while now, basically I was playing Gears 5 when it released like a month ago, but suddenly it just stopped working, I think it uninstalled itself for some reason, I tried re-installing but no luck, it just sent me back
to the game page, no error code, no nothing

I've been playing all other games with no problems, but Gears 5 refuses to install, oh, also the icon for the game is still in the tray

any ideas of what's going on?

Also, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5.

"Gears 5 will be available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass (includes console games and PC games) when the game launches on September 10, 2019. If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you’ll be able to install the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition during
the early access period starting on September 6, 2019."

You need the Game Pass application installed on your PC to download Gears 5 with the subscription, it can't be installed from the Windows Store.

I am having trouble with your Gears of War 5 release. I upgraded my xbox game pass account to xbox game pass ultimate and pre installed Gears of War 5. When I tried playing at midnight, the game was not allowed to be played. Not only that I was
not able to play it, it did not download the ultimate edition with all the character packs that go along with it. I tried then installing it on my PC and it was downloading all the dlc that came with the ultimate edition. What is going on with the release
of gears of war 5 on xbox?

Gears of War 5 on your computer you will get moved to the game's page. We have seen this issue appear with the Xbox (beta) App.

sorry to hear. I think Gear5 only tried to get an update and this stopps and so it was gone. Before you try again to install:

Check if your System is uptodate (via Windows Update and Windows Store)
Check if all the 4 XBOX Services running (via taskmanager)
Perform a reset or the cache files of Windows Store - so
all the cache files in Windows Store will be cleared (Go to Settings>
System> Apps & features> Click
Store> Advanced options>
Reset.)
You may also run the
troubleshooter for Windows apps - it will help you resolve any apps problems in Windows Store.
