Problems with gameshare

Hey dude I have the same problem when I gameshared but the guy I gameshared with doesnt have access to my account so it is a bit different for you

My brother and his xbox doesnt live with me. So he will have his xbox set to home, while i will have my xbox one s downstairs set to home, everything fine.

That would mean you are not sharing any games with each other. You would have to set his console as your Home in order to share and he would have to set one of your consoles to his Home in order to share. Any games you purchase on your account can be playing
on any console as long as you are signed into Live. Any games your brother bought you can only play on his Home console.

I don't know if the number is quite that high, but I know a lot of people do it. Still doesn't mean they're allowed to. The Home setting is ultimately meant for you to set your own console as your Home so if people are using your console, they can access your stuff without you needing to be signed in, and for you to be able to access your stuff in the event you can't sign in (ie. a Live outage or internet outage).

Besides the risk of being banned, it's also just stupid to give your account information to anyone else, no matter if you think they're a "close" friend or not. A lot of people have gotten screwed out of their account because their friend got mad and signed into their account and did something on purpose to get the account banned. Or that "friend" gets mad and signed in and changes login/account information and then the user complains about being hacked. Or the "friend" signs into their account, spends a ton of their money buying games as gifts and sends them to themselves.

Ok so I checked his subscriptions and yes it seems his gold membership expired. I will make sure to tell him that it expired
