Problems with Game Pass 1-month trial from Xbox One X

I've been trying for the past 24 hours to get the code that came in my Xbox One X package for the Game Pass one month trial and it will never go through.

This is the error message I ultimately get:

This is really annoying!!!

Please let me know how this can be resolved.

Microsoft - Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console - Black - MISSING COMPONENTS

I purchased the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console from Best Buy, however, the sleeve that holds the 1-month Game Pass subscription trial, 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, and set up guide was not included in the box. Xbox Virtual Agent referred
me to make a post here to receive a resolution.

Trial waste

How ignorant is it that I buy an Xbox one X and get a game pass one month trial and a 14 day gold trial and can't add them on because I'm already a member. It really pisses me off that I can't use the one month game pass trial because I had a one week trial
of it already. Microsoft is all about making their money. It's pathetic. Don't give this stuff away if only 1 out of 10 people are able to use it.

The 14 day codes are trials and will only work with new subscribers to Game Pass, which is why there's an error. You would need a code that is not a trial code (anything 1 month or above) or purchase Game Pass (or Ultimate) directly from Xbox.

If you have used a game pass trial before or have taken advantage of one of the promotions such as 1 month / $1 you will be charged even if you see the free trial prompt because you have already redeemed a game pass promotion. If you believe this is an error
contact Xbox support via telephone for the best results.

I think you misunderstand my question.

I do see the £1 for 1 month Game Pass offer on my Xbox One, but as I've never used the Free Trial, I also have that option available.

My question was that if I take the Free Trial option, would I still be able to eligible for the £1/Month offer, at the end of my Free Trial?

There are 3 x 1 month free trials per new xbox console. In order to access the trial you'll need to create a brand new account on the console. When it asks you to join live select No. It will then offer you a one month free trial of the Live service.
