Problems with freecell

I am having an irritating problem with freecell. For the second time I have reached the 100 + stage of solving only to find myself having to start again from scratch. Should I remove the game and reload it and give it another chance or just give up?

Normally when it gives an error so it may be a bug or corrupt file, in any other account you managed to pass the stage where it is?

What exactly happens is as follows. I start to play and when I have won it shows a congratulatory message and adds that game to the list with it's completion time then asks me to enter my name. It adds each further win to this list and also adds one to
the awards list and the statistics. After I have won 100+ games or so and start to play it treats me as a new player so I can never reach the 250 level.

MY Windows 8.1 freecell has the same problem but at a different value.

I have the same problem. Microsoft, please add an option to turn off Freecell autocomplete.

At level 100 it is Freecell (or which ever other game) Grandmaster.

110 - Freecell Grandmaster 1

120 - Freecell Grandmaster 2

etc

190 - Freecell Grandmaster 9

200 - Bronze Grandmaster

presumably this will then go 1 to 9 210-290 then Silver at 300, Gold at 400.
