    Problems with Controller


    I have recently purchased an xbox one controller, the first couple of days it has been working fine, however today when using the controller everything was normal then it stopped working. The light of the xbox button was on however it was not connected to
    the xbox. I have tried updating, resyncing the controller and I have also reset my xbox however the problem is still there.

    Problems with controller/mic

    Seems im having problems with either the controller or mic. Not sure if the problem is a hardware problem or a problem with Activision, as im playing zombies on BO3. !st off, during lobby/game searches in Zoms i meet many people with mics, but very few speak
    when spoken to, which tells me there is a chat problem somewhere. Many times some people can hear certain players, but not others and vice versa. I purchased 3 new Xone consoles, and after hooking up mine and my sons we were having problems hearing each other
    right from the start, sometimes i can hear him but he cant hear me etc. Someone told us to make sure to have our mics plugged into the controller before starting the system, so the mic would "Link" to the controller. Well, this sounds off, because what if
    during a game my battery gets weak, and i need to change controllers with a fresh battery, its not like i can switch controllers, and cut the machine off to link mic to new controller during a game. I also noticed that when i wanted to switch controllers
    during a online session, it said for me to "Link" the new controller to system, when i had already linked it before. If i have 2 new controllers, both linked to my Xone, shouldnt i be able to merely cut off the one im using, and cut on the other one during
    gameplay without re-linking them? As this is the whole reason for having multiple controllers with fresh batteries... I suppose my next is to play another game, such as Halo to see how our mics/chat are working with that game, as it could be a problem with
    Activiral and BO3.

    Like what, compressed air? I've tried blowing in the jack but would air work? Any suggestions?

    Four Channel,

    In my experience, I've had a lot of people have issues with controllers where buttons would not be completely "functional" to where not all buttons would move. And in SOME instances, when they would charge or change the batteries, it would work again. I'm
    not saying this is the problem, i'm simply saying he should eliminate ALL possibilities before looking into a replacement/defect controller.

    Trust me, I worked at Gamestop for many years, and now I have seen it a lot of times.

    But you also do have a good point Four Channel, to where it may be a defect, but we just want to once again eliminate all possibitlites. I'm not trying to say you're wrong, because your not. :) Just wanna make sure we check everything out, and charging was
    one of the troubleshooting that has solved an issue like this with many people I haev assisted in the past.
