    Problems with Atmos & Wireless Headset?


    Anyone else experiencing issues with the Xbox Wireless Headset & Dolby Atmos on Series X? Only happened in the past week, it’s been fine up until then. If I have Atmos enabled then Modern Warfare 2 & Dead Space (2023) have strange audio, most of the sound comes from the right channel with limited sounds from the left.

    On Dead Space, changing the audio settings in game fixes it (it’s set to 3D audio in game, if I switch to any other setting & back to 3D audio the problem corrects itself), on Modern Warfare it doesn’t, it’s virtually unplayable with Atmos selected & it’s an Atmos enabled game. The issues don’t occur when the console is set to Windows Sonic. I’m on Alpha Skip Ahead & I’ve filed a report via the console, just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

    Dolby ATMOS for Headphones Problems

    The problem does not have to do with the 3.5 mm headphone jack. I have experienced the problem with both a wireless headset as well as the Xbox stereo headset using the adapter. The issue is only present during ATMOS content. It is less than ideal to have
    to disable atmos in order to watch atmos content.

    Is your Headset connected to an xbox wireless adapter? Or do you have one from corsair?

    Today I've tested the Xbox Wireless Headset on my Xbox One X with Dolby Atmos activated and had no problems in CoD: Warzone.

    Today I've tested the Xbox Wireless Headset on my Xbox One X with Dolby Atmos activated and had no problems in CoD: Warzone.
    The headset I’m using is the RIG 700 wireless headset from Walmart. When I used it with Dolby atmos on my Xbox it worked fine. Now that I’ve move to PC it cuts out whenever I turn on spatial sounds in Warzone. I’ve turned spatial sounds on outside the game and I have no problems with the headset. I’m thinking it has something to do with that specific game.

    Ok guys thanks for sharing, the fact is that many games work fine with dolby atmos, so the problem are the games or the app of dolby atmos. AC Odissey,Valhalla and CP2077 for example works fine with Dolby ATMOS audio and ms wireless headset. Gears 5 and Shadow of tomb raider for example work very badly with dolby atmos.

    I have Same problem.

    I think that this headset dont work on pc like on xbox. I tried to connect it with the xbox wireless adapter and , it works, both are enable to use, stereo and mic, BUT, i have problems when i activate dolby atmos or windows sonic. The sound failed sometimes.

    The solutions that i used was, connect the headset in two devices, Bluetooth ,to use stereo with dolby atmos and wireless adapter for mic.
