    Currently no, you'll need access to the parental account and it's email to change the settings.

    the same problem is happening with me. i removed the adult account and turned off the parental restrictions and it still says i am a kid and that i cant do a lot of things because im underage, which im not

    dont have the password or anything to it :S the parental account was inactive for so long it was deleted, it was made for the purpose of making a xbox account and i didnt think to set my age higher than what it was to counter this problem... :S is there
    no way xbox can remove them or something lol

    Parent account verwijderd, children account nog steeds actief.

    The problem is, the parental account got deleted because of inactivity. The website shows me a dialog with the message the emailaddress doesn't even exists. Please help!

    When will Xbox release inactive account gamertags out again?

    in 2016 they announced that inactive accounts will be removed if they didn't been active for 5 years. So that means inactive accounts will be deleted in 2021
