    Problems Upgrading from Killer Instinct Combo to Killer Instinct Ultra


    I bought the $20 version of Killer Instinct at launch. Now I want to get the Killer Instinct Ultra edition for the new costumes, and original Killer Instinct. But the Ultra Edition costs $40. I don't want to pay for the content of KI Combo Edition twice.
    Is there a way I can get the KI Ultra Edition for $20? Or is there a patch coming for this?

    First off KI's ultra combos existed before MKs brutalities. From MKs wikia - They were introduced following the release of Killer Instinct in 1994. In the game, there was a finishing move known as an Ultra Combo in which a fighter brutalized an opponent
    with a tremendous combo of over twenty hits. Mortal Kombat, to possibly outrival their adversaries, incorporated their own form of a deadly combo, known as Brutalities. -

    "Mortal Kombat had Fatalities. Killer Instinct had finishing moves or whatever they are called."

    With this argument then every fighting game with a finisher is a clone of MK?

    "Mortal Kombat had a character that went through the ground and did an uppercut (Sektor). Killer Instincts had a guy turn into melted water and do a uppercut (Glacius)."

    Another example of MK mimicking KI. Sektor was introduced in MK3, a year after Glacius was already melting into puddles.

    "Mortal Kombat had Mileena. Killer Instincts had Orchid."

    This is just absurd. The presence of a girl fighter is one of your arguments? In that case then MK was released after Street Fighter II which feaured Cammy and Chun-Li. And Just for arguments sake orchid could kick Mileena's ***. Lol

    Even " IF " or " WHEN " the Ultra Edition for Killer Instinct 2 goes on sale for $20.00 in the future, I will not pick-up Killer Instinct 2 Classic because the stand alone value of Killer Instinct 2 Classic is only worth $10.00

    Killer Instinct 1 Classic and Killer Instinct 2 Classic will never become stand alone games because they are being used as incentives to buy the Ultra Editions; that is the reason that they aren't on the disk versions at all.
