    Problems to download Xbox 360 games on Xbox one with Xbox live gold


    Hello,

    my problem is that I want to download an Xbox live game (wich is from Xbox 360) on my Xbox one.

    When I want to start the download a window will pop up in which stands "We are sorry this kind of purchase on Xbox.com is not possible with your account. Perform this transaction on your Xbox."

    I hope you can help me with this problem.

    I am also having problems when downloading Xbox 360 games with Gold for Xbox One. I have a valid payment on file. I click download and a message appears saying this game will appear on your Xbox 360. It does not appear on my Xbox One in my games waiting
    to be installed. Can someone please help. I have also spoken to an agent on Xbox live chat and followed the instructions to the letter and still cannot download Xbox 360 games.

    Yes but first you need to go to
    www.xbox.com/.../games-with-gold     and select “Download From Xbox Store” and then “Download To Xbox 360”. This will register the game to your account which will then show up on the ready to install list one your Xbox One.

    Hello Firebeat,

    You need a valid payment method on your account (the Xbox One only recognises a debit/credit card or a PayPal account), so if you do not have these you will need to "purchase" the free game on an actual Xbox 360 console, after which you can download the
    game on Xbox One from your download history ("Ready to Install" in My Games & Apps).

    That MSG is due to the fact that your account is a child acccount

    The only way around it is to have a parental account with gold make the purchase or use an xbox 360

    Xbox one parental settings don't apply to xbox 360 games

    If you do get an Xbox Live Gold membership for your Xbox 360 don't forget each month to redeem the Games WIth Gold games for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, this way if you do purchase an Xbox One at a later stage as long as you still have an active Gold
    subscription the Xbox One games will be available for you to download and play in addition to the Xbox 360 games.

    I have activated Xbox Live Gold and could download Xbox One Lara Croft with GWG for free but, for some reason, I cannot download Xbox 360 Star Wars Lego: TCS for free.

    When I click to download it in the Marketplace it shows that it's going to be charged.

    Do you know why is that?

    My Xbox Live Gold subscription region is Brazil.
    Solved...

    Guess just needed to wait a little while to Xbox Live Gold subscription to be processed by Xbox 360 Marketplace.
