    Problems recognising wireless signal


    Despite being fully updated, my Xbox One X frequently cannot connect to my wireless router.

    It claims I have a wired ethernet cable attached. Which I don't.

    Problem is getting progressively worse.

    Xbox One disconnecting from Internet need help

    I am have problems with my xbox one disconnecting from xbox live and when it does that it forces me to do a hard reset on my wireless router to get everything up and running again. I don't have this problem with my other consoles is there something wrong with my xbox one wireless signal or what so I do to fix this problem?

    Xbox One disconnecting from Internet need help

    I had the same issue recently. My controller was also frequently disconnecting and then failing to reconnect. Disabling 'Instant On' has seemingly fixed my wireless problems.

    Hi, having looked at the product page, it could just be that your router only has the 5.0ghz signal switched on. If you turn the 2.4ghz signal on in the router settings, then the Xbox 360 should recognise your wireless router no problem.

    Pardon the double post, but as it turns out, it was the wireless signal that was the problem. For whatever reason the inbuilt wireless gets virtually no signal in my room (while my laptop a metre away has almost full signal strength) Guess I'll have to keep

    No problem, and yeah a wired connection is a lot better because other wireless devices or signal emitting devices can cause your wireless connection to become unstable

    I think I solved my problem... Apparently my turtle beach x31 wireless receiver was too close and disrupted the wireless signal. It has been moved and no longer causes any problems
