Problems converting to Ultimate...

Also check if it shows any issues at the subscriptions section on that page.

After that also check the transactions section to see if it shows any information on the failed attempts.

If you converted gold to ultimate what you already had banked was converted 1-1. Once converted if you buy gold only that is then converted to what it is worth in ultimate time; gold is reduced as it costs less overall than ultimate.

It would convert to Ultimate but at a ratio of 3:1. 12 months of Gold would convert to 4 months of Ultimate.

The gold was converted to Game Pass Ultimate so it won't charge separately for Gold. It's been converted to the Ultimate subscription.

When you add Gold while you already have Ultimate, it converts the Gold to Ultimate. It's converted based on price rather than time though. 12 months of Gold is equal to 4 months of Ultimate. So it would have converted your Gold into 4 months of Ultimate.
