If you live in France, it's important to make sure that your Xbox One console and Microsoft Store regions are all set to France before you make any purchases. Go to
Microsoft Store online. At the very bottom of any page, select your current language/region and make sure it is set to
France
- Français.

On Windows:

1. Select Start > Settings > Time & Language >
   Region.
2. Under Country or region, select your region (France).

On Xbox One:

1. Sign in to your Xbox One console.
2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
3. Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & location.
4. Select your location (France) from the Location list, and then select Restart now.

Last but not least, make sure you have updated your billing information on your Microsoft account from here: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/addresses#/

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue making a purchase. If your region is set to Canada, you will not be able to use the euros.

When making purchases the region of the purchase needs to match the payment type. If you have made a region change and now live in Canada or that area where it uses CAD and not Euros. The only time you will be able to use the Euros is if back in that region.
You can check out the
moving and change region.

The money in your Microsoft account

The funds in your Microsoft account will not move with you. Be sure to spend the money in your account before you change your account location. We can’t transfer money between regions.
