    Problem with Xbox subscriptions (GPU, Ubi+, EA Play)


    Hello, The problem is that games with subscriptions; GamePass Ultimate, EA Play, and Ubisoft+, are marked with a /!\ in the bottom right corner of the game icons, like here: https://www.noelshack.com/2025-12-1-1742227356-20250317-170138.jpg So I go to the game library, and in the GamePass section, I have this: https://www.noelshack.com/2025-12-1-1742227412-20250317-170156.jpg And for EA Play and Ubisoft+ subscriptions, I have this: https://www.noelshack.com/2025-12-1...10232108209380915-1311184368310514890-n-1.jpg So games with /!\ (games with subscriptions) can be launched and work perfectly. HOWEVER: I no longer have access to the tabs in the games and apps library, and seeing /!\ on the interface isn't very pretty. What I've tried: Resetting the console while keeping games and apps but remaining an Insider: same problem. Leaving the Insider program and resetting the console: same problem. Unsubscribing from GPU and Ubisoft+ then subscribing again: same problem. Removing the account then reinstating it: same problem. Changing the Primary Xbox: same problem. I have I contacted Xbox Support once by phone, where they made me do a reset, but nothing changed, and another time to tell me to report the problem via Xbox (which I do every other day). So, I don't know what to do anymore; I've tried everything Problem with Xbox subscriptions (GPU, Ubi+, EA Play) :( I'm looking for a kind soul who could help me resolve this problem, or someone who would be (very) kind enough to lend me their account to see if the problem is with my console (if the same problem appears with the second account) or if it's with my profile (if the problem doesn't appear on the second account), which would mean that my profile might be corrupted... Thank you in advance for your help, and I hope to get some answers because I've had it for 2 or 3 weeks, and despite about ten reports to Xbox, nothing has worked.     Why xbox app run always riot luncher, even I dont play riot games ?

    There no program installed, I hard reset my windows yesterday, the problem is after the partnership between Gamepass and Riot games, the xbox app always rrquest riot luncher even if I'm not playing a riot games, Its not normal I open ubi luncher when I play ubi game, I open Ea luncher when I play ea game, why always opening riot luncher ?

    I'm not sure what I'd want Ubi to do about it.

    I'd say the issue is that the Xbox app is now (from the latest version 2304.1001.15.0) opening the Ubisoft Connect app - without user's consent or an option to disable this or even any Game Pass Ubisoft games being accessed. The Ubi app is left running when the Xbox app is closed.

    The new error messages in the Xbox app reinforce the impression that its due to an Xbox app change.

    Without comms from MS or Ubi it's not clear what the reason or benefit for opening the Ubi app is.

    Linking Xbox to Ubi accounts to access game Pass Ubi games is nothing new and likewise for EA- although even With EA games in the Xbox app I don't see the EA app being opened in background.

    Ah, didn't realise EA Play also converted over:

    "EA Play for Xbox members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership on Xbox automatically canceled, and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:1. That means if you have 90 days left on your EA Play for Xbox membership, it’ll convert to 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate."

    So:

    10 months EA Play = 3 months GPU, give or take

    1 Month Live Gold = 1 month GPU

    1 Month initial GPU

    All total 5 months GPU thus bringing you to June
