    Problem with Xbox losing HDMI connection every time I return to the dashboard


    Hey all, I am in the Delta ring and currently have 250807-1745 installed.

    I've had this weird thing where every time I'm in a game and go back to the dashboard, my HDMI connection cuts out. I have to physically unplug the HDMI cable from the console and plug it back in, and then everything works until next time. It started with the BF6 beta, so I thought it was just the game, but now I've had it happen with Starfield, Apex, AC Mirage, and the Hell Is Us demo today.

    I've replaced the HDMI cable so I've confirmed it's not that. I have no idea what else it could be.

    Edit: And just now, it happened when I tried to enter a game.

    Can I just check if your set up is the same as mine? Do you have a soundbar connected also?

    My set up is console to standard HDMI port on Samsung TV and then Sonos soundbar connected to the TV’s HDMI ARC port.

    Presumably your loss of audio is inconsistent also? As in, it works fine on power up and playing through an initial game but if you play for an extended period of time and then return to the dashboard, you usually then lose all sound on the dashboard?

    My Xbox One is losing connection to my TV too. I'm using a cable box and every day I have unplug the Xbox to restore TV picture. It's not the HDMI cables or sittings, I've switched and tried numerous combinations. The only thing that restores live TV is
    rebooting the Xbox One console. This issue just started recently I see a LOT of people are experiencing the problem starting at around the same time. This suggests a firmware problem to me.

    XBOX one controller won't connect. I've tried everything.

    Had same problem after connecting xbox to wired network for the 1st time (after new dashboard) unplugged network cable and connected to wireless and the controller connects, then plug wired connection back in. Have to do this every time i turn on, hope this
    works as a temp fix till microsoft fix the problem
