i tried to enter a pre-paid 12m xbox live code and it keeps failing.

 

Anyone else having trouble renewing xbox live?

Same problem, can't renew 12m Live card.

 

That code suggests a region error. Is your gamertag set to the same region (country) that you physically live in? Which country do you live in?

Gold membership codes are usually region locked and can only be used for the region they were originally intended for.

 

I live in Poland. I bought box with gold membership card together with Xbox One concole last Sunday in Media Markt in Poland. Box is signed for Xbox 360. I've got Xbox One but stuff in shop told that it is no problem.

 

I've just looked up that store and they are a German store. If you purchased online it's possible they sent you one from a different region. You should double check it or contact phone support to see if the code is for a different region.
