    Problem with Xbox game pass app


    I recently copied my entire hard drive to an ssd to upgrade my laptop. Everything works fine except the xbox game pass app. At first when I tried to launch a game it just told me that something went wrong so I decided to reinstall the games. However
    when I told the app to uninstall them, they did disappear from the list on the app, but they weren't deleted from the WindowsApps folder and I can't delete those files manually because they need special permission, so now around 100GB of my new 1TB SSD is
    blocked. Furthermore now the Xbox game pass app itself isn't working properly. Whenever I click on a game to go to its page it just doesn't load the page and when I try to download the game from the dropdown menu after clicking the game's picture on the main
    menu instead of the install button it just says Loading.. and after a while it just draws a frowny face emoji on it. Can you help me with deleting these old files and making my app work properly again?

    Thanks for the reply. The problem I'm having isn't with the Xbox app, it's with the game pass app.

    The Xbox app is already during the series S, but doesn't seem to be a way to change the console on the gave pass app for some reason

    I used to be able to share PC edited screenshots with Xbox (beta). How do I share my custom screenshots since it updated?

    I am able to upload screenshots and videos taken only on Xbox game pass games using Xbox's game capture.

    The problem with that is enabling Xbox game bar and game dvr is widely known to the pc community to cause poor performance while gaming.

    My problem is that before the Game Pass update I was able to upload screenshots and videos of games I purchased from steam and epic store using Nvidia's screen capture.

    Can I still upload screenshots and videos taken from games not on Xbox game pass without using Xbox's Game capture?

    EDIT: I found the solution... We used to be able to upload content with Xbox app (beta) which updated into the game pass app and Xbox app updated to Xbox Console Companion. However a new app was added to the Microsoft store called Xbox Console Companion
    - beta. That is the app that allows you to upload screenshots/videos of games not from Game Pass, Microsoft Store or Xbox Game capture.

    Is it the Xbox app on a PC or the Game Pass app on mobile? There's been a notification glitch in the Game Pass app that will tell you you have a suspension when you actually don't.

    If you haven't already, try playing a game online. If you can sign in and play without problems, you're not suspended.
