    Problem with Xbox Controller and Samsung S23 in Cloud Gaming


    The triggers are not working in the Xbox Gamepass App, its like the triggers axis' are mapped on the right analog stick, and the triggers dont work at all.
    Outside the Xbox Game Pass App it works correctly, i checked it in a few controllers checking apps and it logs all the buttons correctly.

    My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23, and the controller is from a Xbox One Fat (with 3.5mm jack), and its connected via USB Cable

    I've tried disabling all the accesibility options with no luck, i logged out, cleared the cache of the app, and logged in again and the problem persist, i'm at a loss, dont know what else i could do, the only reason i've subscibed to Game Pass Ultimate its just for this function.

    Phone won't rotate.

    I've the same issue with Samsung S23 Ultra+Gamesir X2 Pro(xbox) controller. Neither the app not the web versioned(installed) won't rotate. I tried it with my previous phone Huawei P30 Pro had the same problem there too.

    I reinstalled several times but had no success.

    Hi Kaissa,

    As explained above, keyboard and mouse unfortunately isn’t compatible with Cloud gaming at the moment. There are various controllers that are supported, though.

    Remote play on new phone not working

    I'm using an android. Samsung s23+. My old phone was a Samsung s10+ and that one works great for remote play still. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling console is still set to sleep mode. No error codes. I noticed when I setup the Xbox in the Xbox app on my phone it test my settings and says I'm good to go but I click remote play on this device and it just spins forever and ever.

    Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects to Samsung frame TV, but does not work to control any functions on screen

    I have the same issue:

    * the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

    * the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

    I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

    The result is always the same:

    * The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
    * But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

    I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

    Error message translation: "Game controller isn't connected properly. Ensure it is physically connected to computer"

    As soon as you disconnect #1, #2 starts working immediatelly.
