Problem with Xbox app "Jump back in|Launch on Console" fails to start up console

I had the same problem. just know i fixed it . download gta from the xbox app on your phone. if u played it before it should be under the jump back in tab. click on it then click download and it will start downloading on your console. make sure u set it up

If your console is in the Insider Preview program, there was a mention in the "known issues", that the console sometimes fails to start up from hibernation.

If you are in the Preview Program, and that happens, restart the console and then file feedback that you have that problem.

If your console is not in the Preview Program, download the Xbox Insider App, and then use the app to file feedback that you also have that issue.

I initially shutdown the console and once i restarted i tried to start the app but got nothing then i uninstalled the app and intalled it and tried to launch but it wont start up, it just beeps as im pressing the launch button. Whenever i back out from
that screen and i am looking at all my apps, it always reverts back to "ready to install".

To clarify, which Xbox console are you experiencing this issue on - Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Series X|S? Please confirm the exact model.

If this is on Xbox 360, unfortunately this problem is expected, as apps are no longer supported or updated on Xbox 360 consoles.

There doesn’t appear to be any currently reported issues with the YouTube app on Xbox consoles.

If you receive an error code, post back with this info, as error codes all have different meanings and causes so this would help pinpoint and identify the reason for the error, hopefully finding a solution. A photo of the error would help.

Does the app eventually crash with an error, or does it just load endlessly, or an infinite loading cycle? Do other apps on your console load at all? Usually when a game or app fails to load or launch properly, there’s an error message saying “[Name of game or app] took too long to start, try starting it again” or “something went wrong”.

If the app is installed to an external storage device, try installing the app directly to the internal storage.

Restart your console. Be sure to wait at least 10-15 seconds before reconnecting the power to completely reset the power supply. It’s possible when you power cycled your console, the console only went to standby and wasn’t a complete power reset.

Update the app, if an update is available. The the app may simply require an update to start - preventing startup, although you’re usually prompted if there is one when launching the app. Also verify your Xbox console is up to date. Confirm all this then try launching the app again.

Try other apps on your Xbox and try from another profile.

I suggest to remove and reinstall your profile

Uninstall and reinstall the app, and troubleshoot your network connection to Xbox Live. Check for any errors in storage and advanced network settings. Reinstalling the app and your profile would help remove any corrupted data on the console - theoretically, this should resolve the error, if all else fails.

If this persists and the app still fails to load even after trying everything, you can report a problem as an Xbox Insider. This would notify the relevant teams of the error and would be escalated as more of a priority if there are lots of reports on this. Then hopefully this is addressed and all sorted in an update soon.

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems with your Xbox 360. When do you usually get the Error code? is it when you start up your console or when you're trying to launch a game or app?

You can always attempt to Physically power cycle your console by holding down the power button until it turns off then just wait about 30 seconds then power it back up.

Give this a try and let us know of any changes.
