Problem with WWE 2K16 on disc...

    Problem with WWE 2K16 on disc...


    Today I went to play my copy of WWE 2K16, which I have had no real issues with since the game launched. The copy is disc based, and was in the system when I originally had the problem . I selected the game from the 'games and apps screen', it showed the
    menu/logo screen briefly, then went back to the home menu of the Xbox and did the "do you own this game or app?" routine. I ejected the disc, put it back in...got the same thing. I took the game out, tried a different game to see if those would play...I actually
    tried two other games. They both work fine. I tried WWE2K16 again. Still nothing. Then I did a hard-restart by holding the front sensor. I tried again. Got the same thing. I changed the power settings to power save mode, I powered down fully again. I tried
    the disc again...still nothing. I unplugged the system and left it for a while. I tried again...still nothing. I then thought that uninstalling the game and trying to reinstall it might work. I did that, and now I'm left in a spot where the game is uninstalled
    and my system will not even say or do anything when I put the disc in. It does not even ask if I want to install it. The disc is in pristine condition. It is not the disc...and it cannot be a problem with the drive, because other games work fine.

    Why has a game that has worked fine until now completely refused to function at all when I have the disc and have tried everything in my power to resolve the issue? I do not feel compelled to purchase the digital version just so that I can once again play
    a game that I already spent my money on. How do I get the disc to install again?

    Problem with WWE 2K16 on disc...

    I had the same problem with deadpool game it just go back to the dashboard

    I just had this same problem, I rented a game today and I put it in and where it usually says "install disc" it just had a digital game I own and I have no idea what is going on.
