Problem with Wordament on different devices

I have a strange problem with Wordament failing to display Adventure Map Worlds on only one of 3 different devices.
I have two laptops and a desktop and play Microsoft games on each at different times.
On all 3 devices I log on with the same Microsoft account and allow the games to synchronise my progress via the cloud settings. For Microsoft Solitaire this works perfectly, and for Wordament the same approach works on two of the 3 machines, but on
the third machine (one of the two laptops) even after claiming to have successfully synchronised my settings, Wordament simply refuses even to display the required Adventure Map “Worlds” dialog so I can’t access the saved game to play it.
I’ve already tried uninstalling and re-installing Wordament on the problem machine without any success.

To clarify what’s going on here’s a screenshot of the dialog that appears on the two working machines, followed by a screenshot of the same dialog as displayed on the problem machine.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that Microsoft Wordament is failing to display Adventure Map Worlds on one of your devices. We recommend making sure that

Windows 10 is fully up to date. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend performing

a clean boot before launching the game. A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs,
so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. Also, we have
a facebook page for the Microsoft Casual Games Community. This is where users can address and discuss issues that appear within any of the Microsoft casual games. Be sure to let
us know the results!

I've updated to the very latest app version on all PCs, so I'm pretty sure all the app versions are the same

Is the problem machine running the same version of windows, it may be they are running different ap versions?

Do you have any other device where you can install Wordament app and login with your Microsoft user? I'm saying this just to check it is not something device specific.

Depending on the outcome, we can find different solutions to this problem.

Microsoft Ultimate Word games is a set of 3 games, which includes Wordament for PC. Where the one on the phone is just Wordament, hence why it's different.
