Problem with Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel

Hi guys,

as you can read here a lot of people have a problem with the Thrustmaster Racing Wheel TX while playing Forza 5, me included.

According Support the problem would have to be known and it will probably be fixed in the next update Forza 5.

But the support advised me the problem here again to publish.

As those who still have the problem with the steering wheel and the vibration too, please join me here.

There is an officially licensed racing wheel for forza 5.

Xbox one steering wheel! Has anyone got a suggestion for a good wireless steering wheel?

me 2 ! Sorry guys, but we payed a lot of money for our setup !! plz fix the problem soon !! that´s not ok for us ! many server laggs, lobby crashes and the problem with the Wheel ! with best regards

 

I also have the same problem and RockingRay is right - we payed a lot for out setup!

 

Do you guys have the latest version of the firmware (V47)?

I don't notice this problem at all when playing.

@Aragon 2907 - Losing force feedback is not the same issue that other people are reporting in this thread. Losing force feedback is likely because the wheel is starting to get too hot and has taken preventative action so that the motors don't burn out. I've
experienced this before as well - you just need to adjust to the lessened FFB and wait for the fans to cool down the motors. It will come back to full strength eventually.

My guess is that this happened to you during one of the endurance races.

 

yes I have the latest firmware and I also have other games on the PC, no such problems.

Many users confused with the problem of force feedback with the vibrations.

It is clearly in Forza 5

 

Yes i have the latest firmware installed and i also have these problems. Turn10 should fix this problem ASAP! The problem is known now fpr over 2 Months! It´s a shame that it not been patched. We paid a lot of money for our Setup!

 

I usually loose vibration in Forza 5 after 30 minutes playing with the Thrustmaster TX. If I unplug, than plug in, the car is turning, neither the wheel in cockpit view. I can drive the car, but the wheel and hands are static in that view on the screen.

 

I have firmware 47B9, but the problem exists.

 

Do you guys also have the latest game updates? This issue has been known for months but I'm also pretty sure it's been patched (see this thread about the August update:

You guys might also want to check out other posts in the hardware section of the forzamotorsport.net forums. There are a number of wheel users posting there regularly so you might be able to find some additional info on this issue. Good luck!!!
