    problem with the insider update - doomed console?


    Hi guys, I have a serious problem with the latest insider update. Some back story of what happened so far:

    I live in Italy, so originally my console was set with Italian Language and Italy as location. Some time after I Switched some options to play some games in English, and a month ago I Switched back to (probably) full Italian.

    Now.. The update fails to verify at 63% every time. So far I've tried to soft reset with Eject+Bind to no avail. During this phase I tried to Switch the location settings and to mix them up, but it still fails at the same damned spot.

    My last resort was to do a full Factory reset, but it still asks me to do the update!!!

    Am I screwed? It's an OG Xbox One, so warranty is long gone..

    The Same thing is happening to me now, Im also part of the preview programme. My console is on the home screen and it cannot open anything it just makes a noise and nothing, It doenst even say its connected to xbox live. Might be a bad update i hope it can
    be fixed

    Hey there Mr8iggins and ItssDannBrownn,

    You'll both want to post in the
    Xbox One Insider Program Forums     for the best information and assistance. Since the update is still in the early stages, things may not work correctly at times since it is a Beta. So they'll have the best insight and be able to troubleshoot any potential
    issues. If you want to opt out of the Insider Program, you can do so from the Insider app on the console. Keep in mind thought that doing so, will cause your console to factory reset and any games and apps will need to be reinstalled to the console.

    A hard reset may solve this problem. Hold down the power button until the system shuts down and unplug the power cable. Wait for 5 min and plug it back in and restart the console
