    problem with the family safety adding a device.


    Trying to set up my child's device on my family account. They have amazon fire tablets. There is no option for these, yet they are able to have Microsoft associated games. {Minecraft} and want to play them with each other {multiplayer}. Any idea on how to add them so I can give them permission to play with each other/ Multiplayer? I have already made them a Microsoft account and added them as family under me being the primary account holder. i have even opened the family safety web page on their tablets. but still no option to add the devices even being on that specific device.

    Xbox device not registering in family safety app

    Hi so I am the family organiser on my Microsoft account and I have my sons account added as a member on Microsoft safety app. Under his account there should be 2 Xbox devices. A Xbox 1 and and a series x Xbox. Neither of the Xbox devices are showing up under his account on family safety even though he is signed into both with his account.

    However if he just logs into his Microsoft 365 account both devices show up. They are just not showing up on Microsoft safety app or website

    Hello there!

    Regarding your issue, you will need first to sign in to your Microsoft account and make sure that your account is not under 18. If the account is an adult, you will need to check your Microsoft family to see if you are added there as a child. If you are added to a Microsoft family as a child you will need to be removed from the family by the parent account.

    After your account is removed, then you will be able to change the settings yourself.

    Manage Xbox online safety and privacy settings | Xbox Support

    You could also, try changing browsers and devices to see if that will resolve your issue.

    That means that a different family organizer added that members and only that family organizer can remove him, this is a safety measure

    Unfortunately only organizers of a family group can remove family members. Only the adult who granted consent can remove a child account from the family group. If the adult cannot access their account, the adult or appropriate guardian should attempt to recover the adult account. If you're locked in a family group, then your account may be lost forever.
