Problem with Red Faction 2 on xbox games with gold australia

Dear Microsoft help,

I have an Australian account, and I have a problem with the august 2020 games with gold game, Red Faction 2.

I was able to download it on xbox 360 during august 2020 games with gold, and it states i "purchased" it, like prior games with gold games.

But when I try to play the game, i get error message saying "can't launch Red faction 2".

On xbox one, i try to get the game, but it still has "get" instead of saying "you own this".

I also try to play it on xbox one, but an error message comes up, saying i need to "insert disc".

No one seems able to play Red Faction 2 on Australia region.

I tried for xbox one, changing region to USA, and it worked then. Rather bizarre glitch.

I'll try again for xbox 360.

I have the same problem but I was able to play it on Xbox 360. I saw a post on reddit that someone was able to fix it changing the xbox one region into united states, it worked for me.

I am from India and have the exact same issue.

Cant do that on xbox 360 as consoles are regionaly coded hardwired

And changing the account region isnt recommended unless you live there

If you use google dns thats probably why you need to download in your proper region
