Problem with PC XBOX Game Pass BETA app, cannot install games after PC reset

If you are getting the 0x800700005 error code, then it means you do not have the proper permissions to do the action. There are somethings that will block the user from deleting them but these should be able to be
overridden by an administrator login, if you are not being prompted I recommend to first attempt to find the file location and look at the apps and what not inside, to make sure nothing there is a critical system, if there isn't attempt deleting all the items
within the folder instead of the folder itself. And if the problem persists contact Microsoft support. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more.

I have checked my details and i DO have administrator status on my PC, however I still cannot delete these files.

I am coming across the same issue. I run a smaller SSD primary "C:\" drive and a mechanical large "D:\" drive. Every other app/game launcher allows me to simply re find the previously installed games and then just verifies the integrity of the files, but
it seems M$ locks off that part of the HD and disables it from all use unless it matches the exact original instillation even though I am UFIE enabled and it is the same user account. This seems very over aggressive form of DRM and I will be attacking it with
Linux to see if I can just remove the files from the drive so I can just reinstall, but this is a serious bug IMO.

You only can play Xbox Game Pass PC games with the last build of Windows 10. U want to update to last build, install xbox beta app and after install games.
