Problem with parents/child rules

I now 17,5 years old, made new account, Microsoft say, that I'm child and me need parents for buying products. But my parents are far from tehnologies, and no one have account.

Also I have my credit card, only my earned money and I could spend it without parents.

What me need to do?

Hello. there is nothing that can be done. your parents need to change or exclude restrictions. not even Microsoft could do something about it because of the security criteria.

There is nothing you can do if there are age restrictions outside of waiting. You can't change your age after the fact because the system won't recognize it. What are you trying to do exactly ?

Hey Parvel,

You will need to contact Microsoft about this issue. You can use your credit card to help verify your age. You might not be able to do so until you are 18 if I remember correctly.

Sorry you are having this issue, you can submit an Age
verification Form. you can also submit
proof of age.

After submitting this form, you will receive email confirmation and follow up emails. Also will get instructions on how you monitor the status of your request. Please do not fill out multiple requests. You can expect an email response usually
within 3 days.

The adult parental account can control the use of the child account and that is explained in the rules of the service.
