problem with my son

i would like you to explain me some things so this get sorted and solved once and for all .

you know the difference between legal residence and be in a certain place at a time right ?

so i assume when you come up with that to awser my son you are trying to fool him and i think that is not what you should do to your costumers right ?

tell me , after all his contacts and explanations what do you need or want in order to solve this ?

i already demanded from the support every name of the managers in charge when all of this things happened because they will have to awser for letting this happen to a costumer and when i com here and see your awsers i see something that i dont like at all
,dishonesty and very low know how about the job.

One of the big phrases from every company is that the costumers come always first but in my life i always learned that is only true when it comes to small companies never big ones because the small need every single costumer so in order to keep them they respect
them while the big companies dont give a damm if they have one more or less because they are all numbers .

i can understand that and some things you say but awsering on porpose with lies to justify a decision doesnt make you honest because im sure you know very well what you said and that there is a huge difference between legal residence and place you leave
during a month or even a year , my son had all the requierements and as a costumer he had the right to participate on the said sweepstakes and if you have any problem with that you need to talk with the ones that made the mistakes .

its a little funny because i only knew about this case a couple of weeks ago but it seems that no one there including from the legal department knows what legal residence means , it is amazing to see how low a big company can go just to hide a problem and
isnt only that you "dont know" the giveaway was september 2017 and you are smart enough to say "you say you are in portugal it means you couldnt have entered" .

let me think , a giveaway was done in september 2017 and you say my son couldnt have entered it because on 1 may 2018 he is in Portugal , you are really amazing and look in my line of work i see a lot of things but honestly when i read all this case from day
one till today and see the awsers i see workers acting like little kids because they actually dont know what to do so they try to give every possible excuse that comes to their mind.

i think its actually unreal that i went to the support asking for names explained the situation and after me saying one thing they say another , for exemple after explaining this was a live rewards problem i got a link sending me to a page were i could send
one email to microsoft rewards and then i awsered "sir , this is for microsoft rewards the problem is with live rewards" and his awser was " yes i know but is there how you can contact them ".

can someone from the xbox explain me this ? i dont know what to say when i go to a microsoft support and get people that actually dont know what they are doing and the big problem on that is that this doesnt happen one or two times but a lot more than it
should.

you said my son that he wasnt able to be compensated because he never entered the giveaway but you know too that was the problem he tried to fix from the beggining correct ?

you explain to me this , you have members that keep you alive and you do a promotion you say is to compensate them but if a member of your program is damaged by the another team from your company and cant try to win like everyone else what you have to tell
him is you didnt enter we dont do anything ?

was that his fault ? he almost begged for help when he first contacted , from support to twitter and everywere they told him to ask it , while his friends were winning 500 dollars gift cards he was doing everything he could to enter so he isnt the one that
deserves to be damaged by the situation .

i know about the situation now and after all i saw and all the awsers given i can see what kind of company you are but i hope still there a little of respect for your costumers and more than that i hope there are people there that understands your costumers
cant ever be hurt by your mistakes because no matter the cost thats how a company earns respect not by awsering lies or trying to cheat their way.

i will keep an eye on this situation and i hope it gets solved soon for the good of everyone involved

My son is also having this problem. I'm getting really annoyed with it. When will it be sorted. We are paying for a service my son can not use. I guess the update is the problem.

I have some more information on this problem. We have 3 Microsoft accounts. Dads's (mine) and my two sons. All cards work fine on my account and one son's account. The problem only occurs on one of my son's accounts. The problem is obviously with the one
account only.

Try these steps to change the Microsoft Account that is associated with your gamertag so that it becomes your son's gamertag! I hope this helps because you might not be able to do this any longer!

Can I switch my gamertag to a different Microsoft account?
You can change the Microsoft account that is associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. Here’s how:

Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
Go to Settings and select Account.

Select Change Windows Live ID. (Your Windows Live ID is your Microsoft account. Find out more.)

Why do I get a ”Sorry, we can’t change your Microsoft account right now” error when I try to make a change to my Microsoft account?
You can make only one Microsoft account change for a given Xbox LIVE gamertag every 30 days. If 30 days haven’t passed since the last time the Microsoft account was changed, you’ll receive the error message “Sorry, we can’t change your Microsoft account
right now.”

On Xbox, PC or Mobile?
Is this happening with an specific game or with all the games?
