Problem with Minecraft crashing for no reason.

This only happens with Minecraft when the Microsoft store loses connection for whatever reason. I figure this out by doing some research myself. And played in off-line mode and it doesn’t crash. The error shows up as outdated windows redistributables but that can’t be true due to what I described before. I’ve already installed all the necessary files. Usually the game will display a message before it crashes saying host has stopped. I’ve disabled all the security features thinking that that was the cause. Technically it fix the problem a little it Can play for a bit longer before crashing again. I found a temporary fix by just signing out of the Xbox store and signing back in. But I just wanna know if there was a permanent fix.

Problem with Minecraft crashing for no reason.

    Hi, Yanderexoxx

    Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.

I'm sorry to learn that your Minecraft is crashing, to fix the 0xC000000D error, you can try the following steps.

    I. Perform a clean boot.

    The method is as follows:

    1. Click Windows+R and type msconfig.

    2. Open System Configuration and select General tab - Selective Startup.

    3. Remove the checkbox of Load startup items.

    4. Go to the Services tab - click Hide all microsoft services in the lower left corner, and then click Disable all.

    5. Click OK and restart your computer. (Be sure to select Hide all Microsoft services first and then click Disable all, otherwise it may cause unforeseen problems such as not being able to access the system.)

See if the problem still recurs.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem. These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.

II. Try to repair your system:

    1. Search for CMD, find Command Prompt and select Run in Administrator Mode.

    2. Enter the following commands one by one, be sure to execute the next command after the previous one is completed.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    SFC /Scannow

    3. After the scanning is completed, you can check the scanning information to see if the problem has been detected and fixed.

If the problem disappears during the above two steps, please try to remove the installed antivirus software/system optimization software/system monitoring software on your computer one by one until the problem disappears.

If the above does not work, it is recommended that you contact the game developer for assistance.

    Best Regards

Thank you for your response. I’ve tried that and it didn’t solve the issue but I ended up finding the problem. my SD card reader was malfunctioning, causing windows to freak out. Making the operating system unusable. Nothing would open or launch and the Explorer didn’t work at all. I ejected the SD card and everything went back to normal.

Any ideas why my minecraft keeps crashing?

Minecraft may continue to crash for a number of reasons. The most common are: problems with your video card driver, conflicts with mods, graphics settings that are too high, or even hardware issues.

    Possible causes of Minecraft crashing:

    Video card driver issues:

Updating your video card driver may resolve compatibility issues and crashes.

    Mod conflicts:

If you use mods, make sure they are compatible with the version of Minecraft you are playing and that they are not causing conflicts with each other.

Graphics settings that are too high:

Lowering your graphics settings may improve game performance, especially on older or less powerful computers.

    Hardware issues:

If Minecraft is crashing even with low graphics settings, there may be a problem with your computer's hardware (e.g. video card, RAM, power supply).

How do I stop minecraft bedrock on nintendo switch from crashing?

    Hello Oscar,

The reason we recommend Nintendo support is because the game is crashing on the Nintendo switch with a switch specific error code. We only have steps for games crashing on Xbox or Windows 10 devices.

I highly recommend trying the Minecraft support site again, or the Minecraft forumsif you haven't already.

    Thanks!
