    Problem with Microsoft Store and Xbox app from PC


    I did the game pass from PC with Win10 and I downloaded Sniper Elite 5, Zombie Army 4 and MechWarriors 5 Mercenaries. Only MW 5 works, Sniper Elite only starts the launcher where I can configure the startup settings, but when the startup fails: "Cannot access the specified device, path or file. It is likely that you do not have permissions necessary ". And when this error window is closed, another one comes out with the message: Error at launch: (0x000004c7) -%



    Zombie Army 4 I can only configure the startup settings and when the game launches only the first error described in Sniper Elite 5 comes out.



    The previously installed games all work.



    But is it possible that the Microsoft Store and Xbox for PC always have problems? Other gaming platforms almost never have problems, there are always 1000 problems here.

    Another thing that came to my mind is try creating a desktop shortcut for both games and see if you're able to open the games as administrator

    If you go to Zombie Army 4 settings before launching, are you not able to disable something similar like Sniper Elite?

    Maybe there is a similar issue with the anti cheat software

    Or you could try changing WindowsApps or XboxGames folder permissions and take ownership of the folders following steps below:
