    Problem with language region


    I am brazilian and live in the Japan
    I tried to buy some digital games from USA websites, but when I try to input serial key, returns with the follow error
    "you can't acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region in settings or go to Microsoft.com//redeem.
    Well, I changed the language and the curently region language, but error continue.
    I hope that you can help me

    if it is on the 360.then no it is based on your supporters regions and what the publishers allow.in that region

    Sorry to hear it. However, seeing as you've already opened a ticket with support I would recommend contacting them again to see what's been going on with that.

    I have the same issue. if a Dutch option is not available it should default back to English (for achievements for example - but also for the store which often shows the transaction dialogs in French).

    Hello Guilhermelori,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, when trying to redeem codes or buy games from different regions wont work. They are region specific for a reason as regions have different laws, restrictions and such. If you did do a region change, you will
    be unable to do one for another three months. As this is also against the Microsoft service agreement I will be locking this thread.
