    Problem with Homescreen dashboard for the last to times I get a black screen when exiting...


    I was wondering if anyone else has also been experiencing this same issue with the home screen dashboard when I have gotten the black screen. I have tried pressing the Xbox button on my controller to bring up the guide. when the guide showed up I’d try highlighting the word Home in the guide then pressing the A button on my controller to get to the home screen dashboard and nothing would happen. it wouldn’t get me back to the home screen dashboard it was frozen on that black screen. so then I tried holding and pressing down on the Xbox button on my controller then when I got to the screen that said What would you like to do I went to where it said Restart Console. then after restarting my console when I got to the home screen dashboard the dashboard showed up but this morning when I went to turn on my console when it got to the dashboard it showed up temporarily then went to the black screen then after a couple of minutes of waiting then the dashboard showed up.

    You need to exit to the 'Start' screen (the one you get before the 'Main Menu' when you press 'B') before exiting to the Dashboard or turning off your console...:)

    I've been having this same problem since the last update, and I'm using HDMI straight to a Sony 55es projector. Not only has the screen been cutting to black, but a blue line randomly flicks when using the dashboard.

    How long are you leaving it on the black screen?

    During a cold start you will get the green splash, then black screen which can last a number of minutes looking like it isn't doing anything then it will load up into the Dashboard.
