Problem with getting LoL items while having active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

It is probably because you previously activated your game pass ultimate subscription. If you redeem a prepaid gold or game pass code while you have active the game pass ultimate subscription, the code will extend the time of the game pass ultimate subscription
but considering a conversion. A 12-month code of Xbox Live Gold extends a 4-month equivalent of a Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

I have Xbox Ultimate and it’s active. i go on to xbox game pass to look at games cause i can get games with game pass, and i look at the games and it says i need to buy them so i click on the game and it says join game pass ultimate, so obviously when i have ultimate i’m supposed to have the game pass with it, but it says it’s active idk what to do

Let's try to clarify a little since there is no Game Pass Gold sub. On XBOX you can have Game Pass and/or Xbox Live Gold which provide different benefits but are not the same thing
(and are of course eventually included in the
Game Pass Ultimate).

Game Pass sub gets you access to the Game Pass library of games as long as you are subscribed.

Xbox Live Gold enables most multiplayer functionalities and gets you 4 free titles each month (2 for 360 that are yours to keep
available also on the One thanks to retrocompatibility and 2 for the One that can be played as long as you have an active gold sub). You actually have to redeem those games while your sub is active, which means you cannot get later games that were offered
while you had no active subs.

That being said, which is the sub you currently have and which games are giving you troubles?

If you have only gold, then you should be able to play only games coming from the gold free titles that you eventually redeemed while you had the ultimate active plus the ones currently available. If you have the Game Pass
instead, you should be able to get the games from its catalogue.

Sounds like you added the 12 montsh while you already have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription. So the Gold was converted and upgraded to Ultimate. 12 months of Gold is equal to 4 konths of Ultimate.

You cannot have those two subscriptions active at the same time. You can only have Ultimate active, or the two Game Pass subscriptions active separately, but not Ultimate and one of the other Game Pass subscriptions active at the same time as Ultimate comes
with both plus Xbox Live Gold.

However, if you have never subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate before and this is your first time, there would be a way where you could buy the Xbox Game Pass for PC first, then subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and the time that you purchased
would convert to Ultimate plus the 2 months that you would be paying for which would equal to a total of 5 months. This would also include any time of Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass for Console you currently have, so you could potentially have more months
of Ultimate if you still have time on either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass. This only applies if this would be your first time joining Ultimate. One problem that could occur is that if you go with the PC Game Pass offer, it's very likely that you will not
be given the discount for Ultimate as those deals usually are for first time subscribers for any subscription.
