Problem with gamerpic upload.

During the pandemic Microsoft turned off the option for uploading a new custom gamerpic. Too many people would be trying to upload gamerpics at the same time and there wouldn't be enough moderators to check over gamerpics.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

According to the official Xbox website:

> To upload a custom image, connect a USB device with the JPG or PNG image you want to use.

> Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts.

> Your image must be at least 1080 x 1080 pixels.

> It might take a little while for your custom image to appear while Microsoft verifies that it’s OK to use. (If it’s not, the image will be reverted to the last gamer pic or avatar you were using.)

> Custom gamerpics are subject to the Xbox Community Standards. Images that violate the standards can result in enforcement action by the Xbox Safety team.

Since it's been a week ago when you uploaded your custom gamer picture yet it still doesn't show up, this can only mean that the gamer picture was verified and not approved by the Xbox Safety team. Kindly try to use a different custom gamer picture instead.

As of the moment, there is no way to change your icon through the updated mobile app. Meaning the only way you can now is through the system via USB or

the PC app.

Thank you for your response. Custom gamerpics is still a feature available for Xbox users. However, it is possible that the feature may have been temporarily disabled or an outage may have occurred while uploading. At this time, I do not have any details regarding the error. If you are receiving any errors while uploading a custom gamerpic, please report it using the Report a Problem feature on your Xbox.

Otherwise, try back later and be sure to follow all the steps for uploading found at Change your Xbox gamerpic.

I doubt this may be the reason you're unable to upload, but if you feel as though Xbox reputation may be a reason behind ineligibility, you may check your current reputation status at Xbox Enforcement. Uploads of inappropriate gamerpics and imagery may cause a temporary hold on your account.
