Problem with Download and Update

I am having issues with all the ways to put games on the console, such as:

- I am trying to download XCON, but the download stop at 28% and does not advance.

- I can not install and update Overwatch. If I install first and update later, the update progress stops at 7% and do not advance. If I Install and Update at the same time, the progress stops at 51% and do not advance (Same problem happen with Dark Souls
3).

In some posts the support crew said that this could be an internet problem, but my network is working fine. Is there another problem that is causing all this. I redefine my console a lot of times, i made power cycles and all the things that are said to be
done on others posts, but nothing seems to work. No matter what I do, I can not Update and Download any game.

I have question regarding digital and physical copies of games.

Its going to install the game off the Disc, and download any updates fromt he servers.

Earlier games had a problem where the install time would take forever because it would download the Disc and the updates at the same time, but now they ask you if you want to download the updates while installing.

 

There was a problem with the update

Just got my new Xbox one few hours ago and having this same problem. I actually was able to download the update once (about 500mb) and it was installed but when the xbox restarted it said again that "There was a problem with the update" and I haven't been
able to download the update again. I've tried with wireless and wired.

Did this problem get solved automatically or did you have to do something?

 

For XCOM I would suggest deleting all install progress (manage game->delete all) and retry installation from scratch.

 

I know this might sound foolish, but hear me out.

First, make sure that you have room on your storage device for said updates.

Second, hard reset the xbox.

Third, try to begin the downloads individually and see if there are any issues or spots where the games stops progress.

That's honestly all I can think of to help. I hope it works.

1 - I have a lot of space, I redefine my console deleting all data. I have Halo 5, Limbo and YUGIOH intalled, but they aren't too much.

2 - You mean the powercycle (Hold the power buttom for 10 seconds)?

3 - I am doing individually, I give up for Overwatch for a moment and tried XCON.

I will try to do what both of you said to me, every help is welcome. What I think is strange is that every time that I cancel the donwload or update and try again the progress stops in the same percentage

(Overwatch allways stops at 51% and XCON in 28%).

Hi gds1972, sorry for the spam, but I investigated here, I am not in the Preview Program.

 

When you cancel the installation, do you just stop it and try restarting it or do you delete all progress from your machine and start from scratch?

 

Hi Shame, I delete all progress. I am on work, but I let Elder Scrolls Online Installing/Updating in home, if it work I will try to instal/update Overwatch to see what happen.

 

To everybody that is trying to help me, yesterday I made a test installing/updating Elder Scrolls Online, it was successfull, the game had 31Gb of update to do and it worked. I did some things, I do not know if this will help another persons, but...

I did this:

1 - I cut the conection of other equipaments that were using my internet through Wi-Fi (Cell phone and notebook). This way only my Xbox was using the internet in my home.

2 - I plugged the Internet Cable on the Xbox instead of using Wi-Fi conection.

3 - I let it Installing/Updating during the night.

On the next day the game was fully installed and updated, completely playable. I will test this process with Overwatch that have only 3.4Gb of updates and I will come here as soon as possible to inform you if it works.
