    Problem with controller not being responsive when playing games or even using apps


    I have been running into an issue with my Xbox one controller lately when I’m playing games or even using app or even scrolling through the homescreen dashboard or even when I’m in the store. when this issue has occurred my play and charge kit battery has always been fully charged and the play and charge kit USB cable works great. I have tried takeing out the play and charge kit battery from the back of my controller then putting back in the play and charge kit battery into the back of my controller the pressing the Xbox button on my controller to turn it back on. and I have tried playing a game and still at times the controller is still not responsive and when I take out the play and charge kit battery and put in some other batteries that aren’t rechargeable. and when I pressed the Xbox button on my controller to turn it back on and when I’m playing a game or useing an app or doing anything on my console my controller is still not responsive at times is anyone else encountering this issue as well. I’d really appreciate your upvoting and support so i know that I’m not alone with this issue thanks.

    Unresponsive Controller During Streaming

    Yes THIS IS MY EXACT PROBLEM too! Also happens alot when Im playing the division but has happened in other games. I have tried every fix and troubleshooting, Ive used different controllers and wires and wireless adaptors, new video cards, new routers, uninstalled
    and reinstalled the app, updated drivers and controller firmware. EVEN A SYSTEM WIPE OF MY COMPUTER! nothing FIXES THIS PROBLEM. This is clearly Microsoft hardware being terrible. UPDATE THIS PLEASE YOUR MAKING MY GAMES UNPLAYABLE!

    Dear ＼(^ω^＼), did you even read the post? you are off topic to the point of being rude. id even go as far to say that your response was insulting.

    PAY ATTENTION

    THE ISSUE : we* are unable to "CONFIGURE**" the controls of the Xbox Elite controller 2, using the XBOX accessories APP in Windows 10.

    Even though the controller IS connected and working properly, even if the controller is physically wired to the system, when we try to configure the controller surfaces,
    an error window pops up saying,

    There is a problem with our connection to the controller

    disconnect, error 0X800708CA

    The controller does work, the controller IS connected to the machine. unfortunately we are unable to use the services that the extra surfaces on the controller provide. which is the reason for having purchased such an expensive
    object in the first place.

    IF YOU HAVE A CANNED RESPONSE TO THIS, I DO not WANT TO HEAR OR SEE IT, JUST DO YOUR JOB!!

    *(when i say "WE" i mean all elite controller users)

    **TO CONFIGURE (AS IN, the ability to program certain buttons or paddles
    on the controller to do something other than the original purpose )

    No. He is not being "prude." He is being a responsible father. I for one am unhappy about a porn app being plastered on the available apps screen where everyone can access it even if the parental controls are on. At the least, Microsoft can at least give
    parents / morally upright folks the choice to block it.

    Microsoft, please change this!

    Thank you for the response, and I'm using windows 10 for the time being. Also, my controller is connected by a USB to USB-c cable. Unfortunately, I don't have another Xbox controller to test, however, this problem doesn't occur while playing on my PC or while using my Xbox, just on the game bar and Microsoft taskbar.
