    Hi everyone,

    i have 2 problems... First is if i choose another channel of my tv box (Comag SL60HD+) it recognized sometimes only one digit, f.e. just the 1 of 15. Is their an resolution for this problem?

    And second i just can turn off/on and mute my audio-receiver (Pioneer VSX-519V), but volume up and volume down is not working?

    Iam using a IR-sender, but the problem exisits also if i connect the xbox over a cable with the IR-IN of the audio-receiver.

    Can somebody help? Thank you!

    No audio on live TV - Xfinity PR150BNM

    I have no audio when watching TV with the Xfinity PR150BNM cable box connected through the Xbox One.

    The video signal works, and all controls (change channel, volume, etc)

    I am not using an audio receiver, or any optical audio connections.

    I have tried the following:

    • Disconnecting and reconnecting all equipment
    • Power cycling all equipment
    • Confirmed that, with the cable box connected directly to the TV, audio works.
    • Tried each configuration of audio settings on the cable box (auto, stereo, compression: off/low/high, surround, optimal)
    • Tried each configuration of audio settings on the Xbox One (surround beta on/off, HDMI audio uncompressed, 5.1, 7.1, DTS)

    kinect 2.0 ir blaster

    There is also IR blaster input if you didn't notice.

    With this you will be able to use the actual cable and bring IR to your device directly

    extra usb is for other things.

    when you turn console on it asks you what kind of equipment you're using.

    so when they say control TV it means cable box, audio receiver, satelite box, tv itself, dvr etc.

    Put it between the receiver and the TV. If you put it between the cable box and receiver the Xbox One will currently mangle the surround audio.

    Mmmmm i live in germany and i think oneguide should be available here? At least the support pages explain the setup in german but dont say anything about availability

    By the way, you can control your TV and audio receiver, but not the cable tv set top box

    I did end up figuring it out. It was a combo of two problems, one of which was my silly error -

    1) I was attaching into the wrong HDM1 port on my TV. HDMI 1 is the ARC (Audio Return Channel) on my TV so when I switched to HDMI 2 or 3 it worked. This is what got me by until recently when I finally decided it was time to tackle the other problem.

    2) I was also trying to connect in my cable box (frontier fios) routed through my receiver. That was just complicating issues because frontier boxes don't allow you to connect to two things (Xbox One and receiver for TV) so after reading some forums I have
    the following connected through HDMI: cable STB -> Xbox One HDMI In -> Xbox One HDMI Out -> TV HDMI2 (AV In) and a Fiber Optic Digital Audio Cable from the Digital Audio Out port in the TV back to the receiver Audio in port. So a chain with the receiver is
    now only handling audio and having no HDMIs plugged into it.

    XBox One w/ Receiver Setup

    My set up will be:

    Cable Box HDMI out to Xbox One HDMI IN, Xbox One HDMI out to Receiver HDMI In, Receiver HDMI out to TV HDMI in, Receiver Audio out to Speakers

    So the Cable audio/video goes to the Xbox One, Xbox One send that and/or it's audio/video to the Receiver, Receiver sends video to TV and audio to Speakers

    It seems like that's what you're describing, so I'm not sure why you think audio is being left out anywhere.
