Problem with billing address

So I have been trying to get my free games with gold and also trying to buy some backwards compatible Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One. When I try either one it says that "This purchasing channel requires a billing account. Please add a valid payment instrument."

I have two seperate cards on my account that have both been used to buy other things in the marketplace and pay for my subscription. Also when I try to change my billing address it says I am in United States and I can't change it (I am in Canada). My account
says Canada and has my address so how do I fix this?

Hello!

I want to buy MS points, but in the address details it shows USA and I live in Canada - it's not clear to me why my account chooses USA, but it's grayed out and I can't change it.

Is there any place where I can change my account's country to Canada? I opened it just a short while ago and was already living in Canada (and BTW never lived in the US anyway...) - I didn't see any way to choose a country when opening the account, so I
suppose this is some default setting or whatever?

I suppose I can just put some bad address there but what's the point, right?

Hello AbdullahXbox, the region of your account, your payment methods and your billing address has to be the same, if you are in the UK then everyone has to belong to the UK.

Hi there Player! That shouldn't cause an issue. It sounds like the account you're trying to register has its region set to the USA. Is this a new account you're trying to create, or an old one? If you're trying to create a new account, you may want to
restart the process and make sure you do not set it to be a US account. If you're trying to update an old account, then you will need to contact support over the phone/chat to discuss changing the region.

(Also as a final note, you do not need to have a new account for your repaired console. You can just use the Download Profile option on the Sign In screen and download your own account!)

Hello , chat service was experiencing instabilities, but the xbox site status is already normalized.
What may be happening is the number of people being too high and having generated a queue.

When to your address, when the site goes: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/addresses

And click on adionar a new address, the fields comes with the option to add a phone, this does not appear to you?

It usually appears as in the image below and at the end gives you the option to set as primary for billing and delivery.

Thank you Georges. Here's the situation: already changed the billing and shipping address (few fields I've crossed for privacy purpose)

but my order has this silly address (to this day don't know from where microsoft took that information and already deleted it from my account) which was parsed when I made the purchase on my xbox:

and already received the confirmation email to that order, which means I was charged for the order. My account preferred shipping address has my phone number but on the order shipping details the only valid information is my email. And something tells me that no one will bother to get in touch with me. the postal service won't be able to ship the parcel and then what?
