Problem with Battlefield 2042 Game Crashing Unexpectedly since update 5.0.0 and as of 6/9/2023

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check for any pending game updates.



Go to “My Apps & Games”, select Battlefield 2042, and press the more options button. From the list, select “Manage game & add-ons” and then “Updates”. Any updates will be available here.

Solution 3: Try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Solution 4: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

Title: Battlefield 2042 Crashing and Restarting Xbox Series X

cs go and battlefield 2042.

Edit: i think it's a cpu power problem.

I have the same system and am a big fan of Battlefield since BF2.

I have also paid for Premium on BF3 and BF4.

I also like my console too.

I am also having exactly the same problems as is a friend.

The problems seem to be much worse now since the march 2014 multiplayer game update.

I have just tried the fix below and had a few games but locked up again mid game.help.ea.com/.../troubleshooting-crashes-and-graphical-issues-with-the-latest-battlefield-4-game-update

My game crashes about every hour or so sometimes less. The weird thing is that it crashes when I’m doing minimal tasks like a walking around in my spaceship or just talking to an NPC. I’ve had this similar problem on battlefield 2042, but I’ve heard that that is just a problem with most EA titles. It’s strange coming from a Bethesda title. I’m also able to play many other AAA games like cyberpunk call of duty among others, which barely ever crash and run great I’m hoping this is just a early access problem and will be fixed when the game officially comes out.
