Problem with Atomic Heart downloading through Xbox app on game pass PC

There are a few ways you can do to fix Atomic Heart's problems if you're using Xbox Game Pass on a PC:

1. Make sure your computer satisfies the minimum system requirements for the game by checking. The system requirements for Atomic Heart are listed on the game's shop page.

2. Verify any updates to make sure the game has the most recent patch or update. You may do this by selecting Atomic Heart in the Xbox app's "My Library" menu, then checking for updates.

3. Uninstall the game: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game if resetting it does not fix the problem. To accomplish this, pick "Uninstall" from the context menu when you right-click Atomic Heart in the Xbox app's "My Library" section. You can reinstall the game using the Xbox app after uninstalling it before.

It's not Atomic Heart specifically. It's that the XBox app is where I purchased Atomic Heart through, and because my XBox app on PC will not log me into XBox live when I launch Atomic Heart, for some reason, it also doesn't allow Atomic Heart to launch. Looking around, I'm far from the only person this seems to be happening to. And it's affecting more than Atomic Heart now. Any game I need to log into XBox live for, will not work when I launch it now. Including games like Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, which I had working just a month ago. Before anyone asks, yes, my Live subscription is up to date and active. Thus far, no remedy I've found has worked.

OMG I got it working! Just so others may benefit, here is how I did it:

1. Cancel the download
2. Reinstall Xbox app

3. Open powershell as administrator (windows key+X and powershell (admin)) and enter this command:
Get-AppXPackage -Name "Microsoft.GamingServices" | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
4. Open microsoft store and log in with the same account as on Xbox app and go to library
5. Make sure you don't have any pending updates on Gaming Services (After the command i wrote about in step 3, I received some kind of 8mb update for gaming services)
6. Download the game now.
7. Remember it will let you launch the game halfway through download as demo where you'll be able to play only the intro mission (up to the turbine car)
8. The game keeps downloading even though you don't see it being downloaded in Xbox App (Check task manager: ctrl + alt + delete and choose task manager, see the service host is still heavily using the network! As the game ends downloading, you can relaunch game and play it full version!) Enjoy.
