problem when i try to turn on gamepad

When you try to plug it in via USB - MICRO USB cable, does it stay on? Make sure it has new batteries in it, and if you use a rechargeable battery, try AA batteries to see if that's the problem.

When the gamepad is connected to the PC with a wire, the problem disappears. But when I disconnect usb-c from gamepad, it appears again.

I have the same problem ELITE gamepad is new but I'm moving my character forward when I do not click any button. It's a problem with the left lever, but it never did, I turned on the Xbox and it's just for RDR 2.

I solved this problem. The thing was that to connect my old gamepad, I needed a third-party program - x360ce_x64, without it the gamepads did not work. And forgetting that my new gamepad works fine without it, I continued to use it out of habit, that was the whole problem. I was already ready to return the gamepad, I tried to connect it via a wire and still nothing worked, then I suddenly remembered this program, deleted it and the problem disappeared. So luckily it wasn't the controller that was the problem. It now even vibrates when firing, which was not the case before.

Gamepad turns off after period without use. As I said, I use gamepad to navigate Windows 10. For example I watch a movie and then want to increase a volume after a little while. And it's not comfortable to wait until gamepad will turn on and find a connection.
It's very strange to me. There is an application Xbox Accessories for customize your device and there is no such a simple parametr. For example. Just imagine if you can't choose a period when your PC monitor turns off.
