    Problem when adding a friend to Xbox Account


    Hi

    There is a friend who wanted to add me on Xbox

    When he sent me the friend request. it said that i need to request approval from my parent linked to my account

    i forgot that moment that when creating my account a few years ago i made my dad add me into a family with him through the Microsoft Family Safety

    So, I went to the Microsoft Family Safety and i tried to remove myself from the family but i couldn't do it without my dad's approval.

    but he wasn't home

    i didn't understand why im still linked to a family even im 15 years old

    so, I went to my Microsoft account and found that my account birthdate is set to 2011 even im 2009

    so, i changed it to 2009

    therefore, I could remove myself from the family successfully

    But after that a new problem appeared

    now when trying to accept that friend or even trying to send a friend request to anyone it shows error message saying: "Something went wrong, Please try again later" on the Xbox site and "Try again in a bit, something went wrong" on the Xbox Phone App

    Any fix???

    I'm not linked to any family right now as far as i know

    what's the problem?

    Can't remove a follower. Blocking doesn't work.

    I have this problem as well. From what I can tell it is only happening with friends I added on the Xbox 360. When I removed a friend that I added on the Xbox One it left no trace. The two friends that I added on the 360 that I removed on the Xbox One still
    show up as followers.

    Are you able to find these people on Xbox.com (
    http://xbox.com/     )? If you can I would recommend turning off your Xbox and holding the power button for 5-sec. this will clear the system catch. If the problem still accrues please re-download your profile.

    Hi Drake. What form are you speaking of? Do you know if you or your buddies friends list is full? If you could provide us a screenshot for some clarity, that would help a lot. Let us know, and we can go from there.
